Trade Shows

We love to attend the ski industry trade shows, but we can’t attend all of them. This year we plan to attend 6 shows and we hope to catch up to you at one of them. We attended the NSAA Western Trade Show at Palisades Tahoe in January. It was a great time catching up with everyone! CCSAA (Cross Country Ski Areas Association) – March 31 – April 2 at Soldier Hollow in Heber, UT. We haven’t attended the CCSAA show for many years and we decided to change things up and revisit some of our original roots in XC skiing. Our focus will be on the Alpine Hauler, Joka gloves, and our classifieds. Mountain Works – Put on by the Pacific Northwest Ski Areas Association in Bend, OR, April 22 – 24. This is a great trade show and all of our products will be focused on including the Chairlift Water Tender. RMLA – The Rocky Mountain Lift Association May 5 – 9 in Grand Junction, CO is always extremely well attended. CSCUSA Snowmaking and Grooming Show – April 2 – 4 Spring has sprung and trade show season is here.  If you are attending the CSCUSA trade show in Grand Junction, CO, please swing by my booth and pick up a T Shirt.  I only have 50, one per person and you must be present to grab one. If you have snowmaking hose in need of repair, bring it and I will take it to my new shop in Kiowa, CO.  Speaking of hose, I will have a Niedner Snowhose 2000 from 1994 that still held 800 PSI on display.  There is a difference in hose quality.  If you need new hose, I will have ten 2″ x 50′ hoses for $225 each at the show. Happy Spring! We have exciting news here at CHS Snowmakers!  Since we started CHS in 2002, I have always had another job. Even though CHS was my full-time job, I was also a career firefighter/paramedic in Colorado for 12 of those years and, most recently, the Nordic Manager at Bogus Basin in Boise, Idaho.  As of April 1 (No Joke), CHS Snowmakers will be my one and only focus. We are looking forward to taking our family-owned and operated business to the next level and our valued customers will be the ones who benefit. What does this mean for you? Complete dedication to every aspect of CHS Snowmakers:  quotes, snowmaking hose repair, trucking (moving snowguns and snowcats), classifieds sales, and consulting.   We have a great product line that includes Niedner Hose, Drift Snowmaking Additive, Rogers Hydrants, the Tube Shaper, and Joka Gloves.
