In August 2022, I attended a presentation by E4Soft at the MSAA trade show. After the presentation, I approached E4Soft with a new concept for tubing hill ticketing that I had been thinking about for some time. After in-depth discussions, they confirmed that they can create the system I envisioned.
E4Soft (since 2004) provides innovative solutions for the ski industry and other sporting industries. They currently offer three platforms: GO RMS, GO PASS, and GO PLAY. Before building out the new platform (combination of the three and more), we decided to start at the ground level for my concept. CHS Snowmakers not only has some of the largest ski industry companies as customers, we also have the smallest. So we are focusing first on our smallest customers – stand alone snow tubing hills, XC ski centers, and adventure parks.
Every large ski area started small with a big dream. They had to break ground and build up year after year. This is what we are doing for the smallest operations, with the ability to grow into the largest operations. Just like learning to ski or snowboard, you start on the Beginner slope, Green Circle, then advance to the Intermediate slopes, Blue Square, and then up to the Advanced slopes, Black Diamond.
The Beginner Package
Includes online or window ticket sales, reservations, cafeteria sales, and retail sales.
The Intermediate Package
Includes all attributes of the Beginner Package and adds: gate checks (RFID and virtual options), timed tickets, and season passes.
The Advanced Package
Includes everything in the Beginner and Intermediate Packages plus analytics to predict the future.
The Double Black Diamond Package
Includes everything plus the concept I have been dreaming up. We hope to release this package in 2024.
