40 HP portable booster pump –
This well pump was originally installed for a nordic ski area in a lake pump house and designed by Torrent Engineering. It only had 16 hours when pulled and stored.
In 2025 CHS Snowmakers converted this pump into a booster pump. Nearly everything is new except the booster pump and control panel. We customized an Alpine Hauler to support the pump on 3 wheels with jacks. Fork pockets were included and the two wheels/axles are easily removed and stored on the frame for easy transport under legal highway width of 102″ wide.
This pump was put into service in February 2026 for a portable snowmaking job for the Special Olympics. This pump exceeded our expectations and provided a 400 psi boost and ran two fanguns without issue. It was supply by a trash pump and creek water. Power supplied by a generator.
The control panel has a solid state soft start and the digital display offers many operating data points including amps, torque percentage, volts, HZ phase amps, KW, power factor and much much more.
20′ power cord included.
Two 2″ discharges with high pressure ball valves.
Fully galvanized shcedule 40 and class 300 steel construction
This pump is located at CHS Snowmakers and is ready to ship. Nearly 60 total hours after use at the Special Olympics.
