Classifieds Update and Spring Trade Shows

Happy Spring!

We have exciting news here at CHS Snowmakers!  Since we started CHS in 2002, I have always had another job. Even though CHS was my full-time job, I was also a career firefighter/paramedic in Colorado for 12 of those years and, most recently, the Nordic Manager at Bogus Basin in Boise, Idaho.  As of April 1 (No Joke), CHS Snowmakers will be my one and only focus. We are looking forward to taking our family-owned and operated business to the next level and our valued customers will be the ones who benefit.

What does this mean for you? Complete dedication to every aspect of CHS Snowmakers:  quotes, snowmaking hose repair, trucking (moving snowguns and snowcats), classifieds sales, and consulting.

We have a great product line that includes Niedner Hose, Drift Snowmaking Additive, Rogers Hydrants, the Tube Shaper, and Joka Gloves.

Last week, our first Tube Shaper was built in Idaho, just down the road from our shop.  I worked hard with Cory Bradburn (one of the owners of TS) and our local welding shop; the finished product is second to none!  This opens the door for quicker delivery times next winter in the Western USA.

Our Classifieds page is growing in popularity by the month.  Several items have sold since the last update and we have added additional items.  People from outside the ski industry have contacted us, looking for equipment and to list equipment.  Several of our snowcat listings were sold outside of the ski industry!

Joka Gloves – Our Joka gloves photo contest winner goes to Detlev Mcilhany from Steamboat Springs, CO.  He submitted a great photo of a snowmaker digging out a fangun with the Joka Polar gloves on hand. He wins a brand new pair of Joka gloves of his choice.
