Chairlift Water Tender Rentals!
August 11 update – We received our most recent protoype and it is 98% there. We have two corner seams to correct and the lenth of the Velcro straps. We will have our next prototype in the next few weeks.
July 28 Update! We are very close to testing our final design. We will have a limited number of CWTs available for 2023 for load testing. If you are interested in purchasing 10 to 20 CWTs this year, please contact us. In 2024 we plan to be in full production.
In early April, we debuted our Patent Pending Chairlift Water Tender and the response has been amazing! At the trade shows, our customers have shared their horror stories about load testing using trash cans that break, boxes with trash bags, and other random ways of adding weight to the chairs. One story stood out, a lift with trash cans that was nearly at capacity and it rolled back to the brake. It wouldn’t move off the brake and staff had to climb towers to get to trash cans to dump them. It was a three day ordeal!
The common statement was how the Chairlift Water Tender can solve many of these problems. We designed it with many of these traditional load testing problems in mind but we couldn’t imagine all of them. The demand is great so we are now considering a rental program.
The rental will be for two weeks; you specify which size and how many of each you need. They will ship in IBC totes with the top cut off so they are easy to remove and pack back up for shipping. The rental will be 1/3 the purchase price, plus shipping. The 1/3 rental price is in line with the purchase of trash cans. Each November, our rental fleet will be available for sale. We expect to ship out Chairlift Water Tenders in mid July.
If you have one or two lifts that need their 7-year testing, the rental program could be right for you. If you are building a new lift that is expected to be completed in November or December, we suggest you place a purchase order soon. If you have several lifts to test this year, the purchase will be a better option.
The Chairlift Water Tender is in its final design changes and we will be testing it later in May. The test will be the complete process on a chairlift, from loading to dumping and collecting the water. We will produce a video showing the entire process.
All three sizes hold 190# per seat (ANSI B77.1 standard) or more and the dump chute works amazingly fast. We need them to hold water for at least 24 hours so we are correcting a few leaks in our revised design. We expect to have the next batch of Chairlift Water Tenders in a few weeks.
Send us an email with how many and what size Chairlift Water Tenders you need. Also, include the time frame you need them for either rental or purchase. If we have enough interest in the rental program, we will get moving on it right away!
Thank you,
